Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, said his heart is "moved" after visiting the flood-hit areas in Punjab. "The pain and loss cannot be estimated without going to the fields. There is a crisis on the crops," he wrote on X. Chouhan added, "We will not let the farmers lose heart, we stand firmly with them."
