The Indian Navy launched its final Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW SWC), Ajay, on July 21 at GRSE, Kolkata. Designed for coastal anti-submarine warfare, Ajay was the 8th vessel built by GRSE under a 16-ship contract. These ships boosted India’s maritime defence amid rising undersea threats. Equipped with sonar, torpedoes, and rocket launchers, 'Ajay' strengthens coastal security.
