Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday said that as we envision a developed India by 2047, there is a need to increase per-hectare agricultural income. He also mentioned giving a push to horticulture through the Centre's Clean Plant Programme. "An agriculture minister's work cannot be considered complete until he visits farmers' fields," he added.
