Ex-India captain Sunil Gavaskar criticised Pakistan for delaying their Asia Cup 2025 match against the UAE, saying they "held the game to ransom". He said the PCB had two days to discuss any issue regarding match referee Andy Pycroft. Gavaskar added that PCB's actions set a wrong precedent and hoped that no other team would be allowed such "bullying" again.
