Singer Shaan spoke about reality singing shows, and how they have become an entertainment-based platform instead of nurturing new generation artists. He added, "They [contestants] aren't singing original songs. They're overqualified to be singers because what they are missing is their originality." He added, "Today, if a singer has originality, own style and USP, that's when they get to work."
