Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis took a dig at Meta for poaching AI employees. Calling Meta's actions "rational", Hassabis said, "They're behind and they need to do something...Meta right now are not at frontier, maybe they'll manage to get back on there." He added that interns these days are paid the amount they raised in their firm's first seed round.
