Kenya's sprint coach Dennis Mwanzo, who was bitten by a stray dog amid the World Para Athletics Championships at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, said he felt a grip on his leg. "At first, I thought someone was holding me, but when I turned, I saw it was a black-and-white dog," he recalled. Mwanzo added, "I struck it to free myself."
