About 50,000 people took part in a pro-Palestinian march in Auckland, New Zealand's biggest city, on Saturday. According to the organisers this was the largest rally of its kind since the war in Gaza began in 2023. Many carried banners with slogans saying "Don't normalise genocide" and "Grow a spine stand with Palestine". New Zealand is yet to recognise Palestine.
