Assam’s Kamakhya Temple reopened after a zealous celebration of the Ambubachi Mela on June 26. Thousands of devotees lined up outside the temple as public darshan resumed from 6 AM on Thursday. The temple was closed for three days to honour the yearly menstruation course of the goddess Kamakhya.
