Thousands took to streets in Philippines' capital Manila to protest against corruption scandal involving officials and businesspeople who allegedly pocketed huge sums of money from flood-control projects in the nation. "I feel bad that we wallow in poverty...while they rake in big fortune from our taxes," a protestor said. Protestors demanded immediate prosecution of those involved in the scandal.
