Three trainee doctors from Thoothukudi Government Medical College died and two others were injured after their car skidded on a rain-soaked South Beach Road in Thoothukudi. The vehicle crashed into a tree, killing two on the spot and one at the hospital. Police are probing overspeeding and slippery road conditions.
