Three workers from Tamil Nadu on Tuesday died due to suffocation when they entered a manhole to clean a hotel's septic tank in Kerala's Idukki. One labourer got trapped inside manhole while cleaning the tank and two others went to rescue him. Despite efforts, rescuers could not enter the manhole and had to use an earthmover to recover the bodies.
