India's semiconductor push is shifting towards tier-2 cities like Ahmedabad, Mohali, and Thiruvananthapuram, driven by policy incentives and cost advantages, said a Quess Corp report. The India Semiconductor Mission now has 10 approved projects worth ₹1.6 lakh crore. With growing EV, 5G, and data centre demand, India is set to become the world's second-largest semiconductor talent hub.
