Tiger conservationist Valmik Thapar passed away at 73 on Saturday morning at his residence on Kautilya Marg in New Delhi. Thapar, who served on over 150 committees of both central and state governments, was diagnosed with cancer last year. Thapar is survived by his wife and son. He had written over two dozen books on wildlife and conservation.
