A TMC-backed Matua outfit has written to West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee to censure Mahua Moitra over her remark that hurt the Matua community. Moitra had reportedly said that Matuas are Trinamooli year-round and become Sanatani during polls, referring to their votes going to the BJP. "You then take allowances...wearing wooden malas," she had said. "She mocked Vaishnavas," BJP said.
