TMC wrote a letter to West Bengal's Chief Electoral Officer over "widespread confusion" in the ongoing revision of electoral rolls. The party alleged that while CEC Gyanesh Kumar said that blood relatives such as Chacha (Uncle) could be mentioned in SIR forms, the software interface restricts the 'relative' category to parents and grandparents only. BLOs are also instructed the same.
