BJP's West Bengal unit said TMC leaders commit rapes because CM Mamata Banerjee encouraged them by labelling rapes as "minor incidents". BJP criticised the CM for trying to deflect her duty by shifting the blame to BJP-ruled and other states, and said this won't make Bengal safe for women. "She is incompetent, incapable, and must resign immediately," they said.
