West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee expressed anger after her party's mouthpiece reported that she personally received the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) voter enumeration form and assured to fill it. Banerjee clarified that she would not submit any form unless every citizen in Bengal did so, calling the report "misleading" and "purposefully propagated". Her party, TMC, has been opposing SIR.
