TMC MP Saket Gokhale has written to CJI BR Gavai seeking a stay on the Supreme Court's order to relocate all stray dogs in Delhi to shelters. He described the deadline for authorities to create dog shelters within eight weeks as "unreasonable". The limited period would lead to the creation of substandard infrastructure, endangering the lives of dogs, he wrote.
