TMC zonal president Piyush Ghosh was shot dead in West Bengal's Birbhum on Sunday. Ghosh left home around 12.30 am after receiving a phone call. A woman named Mousumi Mal, whom Ghosh had gone to meet, saw a man shooting him. This was the second TMC zonal leader and third party worker to be killed in the last three days.
