Speaking in Lok Sabha, PM Narendra Modi said fishermen in Tamil Nadu continue to suffer because Congress gifted Katchatheevu island to Sri Lanka in 1974. "Congress was planning to withdraw the Indian Army from Siachen. In 2014, people voted them out; otherwise, Siachen would not have been with us," PM added. "Congress has always compromised on national security," he stated.
