The Tamil Nadu government has instructed banks not to reject loan applications solely on the basis of low CIBIL scores. Minister TM Anbarasan stressed that loans under self-employment and subsidy schemes must be issued promptly, especially to rural youth, women, and first-time borrowers. The move aims to boost entrepreneurship and strengthen the rural economy.
