Tamil Nadu Assistant Director General of Police (ADGP) HM Jayaram, (IPS) was arrested on Monday in connection with a minor's abduction case in Chennai. He was arrested on the orders of the Madras High Court. The case relates to kidnapping of a boy in Tiruvallur district on May 10. The boy was later found abandoned near a hotel.
