Comedian Johny Lever criticised the current state of comedy in India and claimed that modern-day actors and stand-up comedians rely on double-meaning jokes. "People are freely abusing today because of Hollywood films...I challenge...today's comedians to say something clean and make people laugh," Johny said. "They aren't bad...people enjoy their content...but I've a family audience," he added.
