Police have registered a case of dowry harassment and cruelty against Kannada filmmaker S Narayan, his wife, and their son Pavan, after a complaint was filed by his daughter-in-law, Pavitra. Pavitra, who married Pavan in 2021, alleged that they were pressuring her to bring more dowry. "I took a...loan...of...₹10 lakh. They repaid only part of the money," she said.
