Torrent Power has signed long-term agreement with BP Singapore Pte. Limited for 0.41 MMTPA of LNG from 2027 to 2036. This deal will boost the efficiency of Torrent Power's 2,730 MW gas-based power plants during peak demand and strengthen energy supply for Torrent Gas Ltd's city gas distribution business. This move supports the Indian government's goal of increasing natural gas.
