Many of Kullu's famed tourist destinations are now grappling with growing menace, unmanaged garbage. As footfall surges in spots like Manikaran, Kheerganga, Malana, Kasol, Tirthan & Jibhi so too does the volume of waste. Dr. Suman, president of Parbati Valley Adventure Tour Operator Association, said cleanup drives aren’t enough and a waste disposal plant in the valley is now essential.
