Two men have been jailed for their role in the deaths of an Indian family who froze in -35°C while illegally trying to cross into the US from Canada in 2022. Harshkumar Ramanlal Patel and Steve Anthony Shand, guilty of human trafficking and culpable homicide not amounting to murder, are sentenced to 10 years and 6.5 years in prison, respectively.
