A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck Nepal in the early hours of Friday, with tremors felt in parts of Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim and other neighbouring regions in India. The epicentre of the earthquake was reported to be Sindhupalchowk district's Bhairavkunda in central Nepal. At least one person was reported to be injured in Nepal, although no other damages were reported.
