The Madras High Court has ordered trial to commence in MS Dhoni's 2014 defamation suit seeking ₹100 crore from Zee Media, journalist Sudhir Chaudhary, retired IPS officer G Sampath Kumar, and News Nation for linking him to IPL betting scam. The court appointed an advocate-commissioner to record Dhoni's testimony in Chennai. It'll be taken between October 20 and December 10.
