The NHAI started a trial run of the tunnel and underpasses on Delhi section of Dwarka Expressway from Thursday to reduce travel time between Delhi and Gurugram section of NH48, a statement said. The underpasses that were opened include a shallow tunnel connecting Dwarka/Yashobhumi to airport. The trial will help NHAI evaluate traffic patterns, infrastructure efficiency and safety measures.
