The Tripura government has announced a 3% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for its state government employees and pensioners. Effective from October 1, the hike comes as a festive gift ahead of Durga Puja, for which the government will bear an additional burden of ₹125 crore for the remaining months of the current fiscal.
