Lawyers for US President Donald Trump and California Governor Gavin Newsom will clash in court on Monday to determine whether Trump had violated a 147-year-old law when he deployed National Guard to quell Los Angeles protests. As many as 4,000 National Guard members had been deployed after people gathered to protest immigration raids that left dozens of people detained/deported.
