Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said US President Donald Trump's advisor Peter Navarro's anti-India rants were "extremely offensive". "If there's no particular problem in a relationship of 30 years, which has been getting toward greater closeness, why would you use this kind of language?" Tharoor told ANI. India rejected Navarro's remarks on India importing Russian oil as "inaccurate and misleading".
