US President Donald Trump's aide Laura Loomer has sought the denaturalisation of British-American citizen and journalist Mehdi Hasan, calling him threat to US' security and accusing him of having ties with extremist groups. "We have 3 weeks to denaturalise [him]," Loomer said, referring to Hasan, who became citizen in 2020. Hasan had called Loomer "soulless" over her remarks on Gazans.
