US President Donald Trump and his advisers have discussed possible administration roles for New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa, reported New York Times. The aim is to clear the field for November mayoral election and damage chances of Democratic front-runner Zohran Mamdani, it added. Adams' spokesperson has rejected the claims, saying Trump hasn't approached Adams.
