Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed optimism over US President-elect Donald Trump's upcoming tenure, claiming that he could help end the ongoing war sooner. "He (Trump) has heard the basis on which we stand. I have not heard anything against our position," Zelenskyy reportedly said. Trump had claimed that he would be able to resolve the conflict in one day.
