US President Donald Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency after mild swelling in lower legs, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said, calling it a "benign condition". Recent photos showing bruising on Trump's hands were explained as "minor soft tissue irritation" from frequent handshaking and aspirin, taken as part of a "standard cardiovascular prevention regimen".
