US President Donald Trump said he'd like US to have ownership of the land used for American military bases in South Korea instead of leasing it. Sitting alongside South Korean President Lee Jae-myung at the White House, Trump remarked that Washington had invested heavily in infrastructure in the Korean Peninsula, adding that the US maintains 40,000 troops in the country.
