German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung has said, "So far, US President Donald Trump has defeated all his opponents in the tariff dispute. Not India. Instead, the country is turning to its powerful neighbour China." In an article, the newspaper added that Trump "is trying to force the subcontinent to open its economy in a shameful manner".
