There are more American troops currently deployed in Los Angeles than in Iraq and Syria combined, a report by ABC News said. US President Donald Trump has sent 4,000 National Guard personnel and over 700 active duty Marines in Los Angeles to curb protests against immigration raids. In comparison, there are 2,500 American troops in Iraq and 1,500 in Syria.
