Iran condemned the remarks by US President Donald Trump on the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said, "If Trump is genuine about wanting a deal, he should put aside the disrespectful and unacceptable tone towards Iran's Supreme Leader, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei." This came after Trump said he "saved" Khamenei from a "very ugly death".
