Former US President Barack Obama has criticised US President Donald Trump for deploying the National Guard in Washington DC and Los Angeles. "The expanding use of our military on domestic soil puts the liberties of all Americans at risk and should concern democrats and republicans alike," Obama posted on X. Trump has also threatened to deploy federal troops in Chicago.
