New York Governor Kathy Hochul denounced the tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump, calling them "disguised tax" that are increasing prices of all things and crushing families' budgets. Hochul said the cost of housing will go up because Canadian labour that's part of the workforce has become expensive due to tariffs. Trump has imposed tariffs on over 70 countries.
