A federal appeals court has temporarily reinstated most of US President Donald Trump's tariffs, a day after the Court of International Trade blocked them. The US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit said that it was pausing the trade court's ruling to consider the government's appeal. The trade court had ruled that Trump overstepped his authority.
