US President Donald Trump defended DOGE chief Elon Musk's email to federal employees, which demanded that they summarise their work by the end of Monday or risk getting fired. "If you don't answer, like, you're sort of semi-fired or you're fired," the US President said. This comes after Trump's administration reportedly stated employees weren't obliged to respond to the email.
