US President has issued an Executive Order directing top US national security agencies to begin 30-day process of designating specific chapters of Muslim Brotherhood as Foreign Terrorist Organisations. The order stated that Lebanon-based factions aligned with movement joined Hamas, Hezbollah and other Palestinian groups to support or enable violence targeting US interests and regional partners.
