Donald Trump will be awarded Israel's Presidential Medal of Honour, the country's highest civilian award, for helping secure 48 hostages' release. The award, created in 2012 by Shimon Peres and revived by Isaac Herzog in 2022, honours leaders, artists, philanthropists and others for exceptional service to Israel or humanity.
