Tsunami warnings were issued for China, Peru, and Ecuador after an 8.8-magnitude earthquake struck Russia on Wednesday, followed by a tsunami off the country's coast. The tsunami waves are expected to hit parts of eastern China, with waves expected to reach a height of 30 cm to one meter. The tsunami also hit off the coast of Japan.
