Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) attacked a police training academy in Pakistan's Dera Ismail Khan, resulting in deaths of at least seven policemen and six militants. A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at the gate before others entered the facility. This comes after Pakistan Air Force attacked Afghanistan's capital Kabul with an aim to target TTP chief Noor Wali Mehsud.
